Mixing Wood Paint Colours 2018-04-08T13:52:25+00:00

Mixing paint colours together is fun and opens up a world of new colours and shades, making it easy to create exactly what you want.

Thorndown Wood Paint colours mix easily together so you can create endless bespoke shades and colours. So often you find a colour and really like it, but would love it if it were just a little lighter, or a little greener, or had a slightly more grey hue to it.

You can mix Thorndown paint colours together in a pot and just stir together with a stick, spoon, stirrer, or use a cheap hand blender to blend quickly and easily. If you just want to make a minor change then add straight to the tin. Keep a note of the ratios you’re mixing so you can repeat the colour. Then just paint on as you would normally then sit back and admire your own unique creation.
