The factory and office will be closed on the Monday 26th August Bank Holiday and our couriers won’t be making deliveries as they relax and take time off.

If you’d like paint for the Bank Holiday weekend then please place any orders for 750ml tins and larger by midday Wednesday 21st August. Couriers will be delivering Friday 23rd August so any orders placed by midday Thursday 22nd August should arrive the next day but best to build in some contingency.

Royal Mail orders for 150ml tins and craft packs are sent out via the 48 hour service so please place orders by midday Monday 19th or Tuesday 20th August. You can upgrade to a 24 hour service by contacting the office on 01458 258588 or via email studio@thorndown.co.uk

DELIVERIES

Orders placed before 12pm are dispatched that day and normally delivered the following working day by our specialist liquid couriers.

Sample tins and Craft Packs are sent by Royal Mail 48hr tracked unless otherwise requested.

Some bespoke RAL orders can take a bit longer if colour matching required.

Wood Paints

All of our Wood Paint colours are named after the local area and nature within that inspires us so much. This high-performing range can be used on all types of exterior and interior wood.

Thorndown Wood Paint is water-based with virtually no VOC or odour and creates a long-lasting, hard-wearing coating that protects against the elements. We use VOC free exterior-grade colour pigments that look stunning for years.

Glass Paints

All of our opaque Glass Paint colours are named after the local area of Glastonbury and the Mendips, and nature within, matching joinery colours in the Wood Paint range. Names for the translucent colours are filled with fun and fantasy.

This Peelable Glass Paint is made from a resin that contains 100% recycled plastics. It is water-based, has virtually no VOC or odour and can be applied to any shiny surface.

Wall Paints

A stunning high-performance eco paint with a flat matt finish and minimal VOC and odour for use on all walls and ceilings within the home. Beautiful deep colours crafted with strong exterior-grade VOC free colour pigments that sit in a durable coating.

Looking for colour inspiration? Our wood and glass paint colours are created to suit any taste from the traditional to the modern palette, and provide the building blocks for you to mix our paint colours together to create any shade you like.

We can also make over 1800 RAL Classic and Design colours so you’re spoilt for choice. The exterior-grade VOC free colour pigments we use are designed to stay brilliant for years and years.

Craft Packs

You can buy Peelable Glass Paint Stencil Craft Packs in themes and designs to decorate your home and garden. Create Love themed, Easter, Halloween or Christmas windows, items and gifts with the seasonal Stencil Craft Packs or floral designs with the Golden Floral or Summer Floral Packs.
