For 24 years I made and sold wood treatments, preservatives and paint for my former family business. Many years ago I received an honours degree in Physics and Computer Studies and also studied Chemistry and Biology as an undergraduate. Since working I have always continued to develop my chemical knowledge and keep at the forefront of technology.

When not working I’ll be out in the countryside generally covered in mud, water ice or snow. I’m a keen runner, cyclist and skier who generally annoys the kids taking them out swimming, walking or cycling whenever I can.
