The RAL European colour system was created in 1925 as a quality assurance organisation and began to create a standardised colour system in 1927.
We use a RAL tinting machine that is calibrated to accurately produce over 1800 RAL Classic and Design colours. The RAL tinting machine works on a level of 99.9% accuracy meaning that every colour made is absolutely spot on! In addition to this we introduced an additional level of quality control and paint up every RAL colour we produce to make sure that the output matches the control colour swatches on the RAL fan deck.
