May Bank Holidays Opening & Delivery Dates

There are two lovely long weekends in May and if you don’t have to work and are thinking of using the time to get on with some painting projects, here are our tips to make sure you get your paint in time.

MONDAY 4th MAY
POSTAL DELIVERIES
As standard all craft packs, 40ml and 150ml paint tin orders are despatched using Royal Mail’s 48hr Tracked Small Parcels Service. Parcels are collected by Royal Mail the morning after you’ve placed your order so if you order on a Monday, the post-person will collect Tuesday morning, then it should be delivered Thursday or Friday.
Place your order by 4pm Monday 27th April or the week before to play extra safe.

COURIER DELIVERIES
All of our paint tin orders of 750ml and larger are sent by courier on a specialist next day liquid service, so you can place your paint order by 12pm Thursday 30th April for delivery the next day on Friday 1st May. Placing your order before this date will allow extra time for any possible hold-ups or delays in the courier system.

MONDAY 25th MAY
POSTAL DELIVERIES
Place your order by 4pm Monday 18th May or the week before.

COURIER DELIVERIES
Place your paint order by 12pm Thursday 21st May for delivery the next day on Friday 22nd May, or earlier in the week to avoid any possible hiccups in the courier system.

The office and factory will be closed on both Bank Holiday Monday 4th and 25th May and our couriers will also be taking a break on these days.

Orders placed before 12pm are dispatched that day and normally delivered the following working day by our specialist liquid couriers. Some areas of Scotland, Highlands and Islands go out via ParcelForce on a 2-3 day service.

Sample tins and Craft Packs are sent by Royal Mail 48hr tracked unless otherwise requested.

Some bespoke RAL orders can take a bit longer if colour matching required.
